Host a Talk, Workshop, or Book Club
Book Talks
We love to partner with local organizers to engage in public conversation about how to make change where you are! We also like to feature the work of a local artist (of any medium) with a political point of view. Would you like to help organize such an event? Let’s collaborate!
Invite the authors to your bookstore for a public talk and conversation.
Book Clubs
Remaking Democracy was designed to be used by small groups of people. If you are reading it with a group, we would love to visit either virtually or in person if at all possible to answer questions and further the discussion.
Workshops
Living at a time of rising fascism and rising seas, no wonder many of us feel overwhelmed. We need more input into decisions that affect our lives, like the kinds of work, school, and healthcare available to us, where our energy comes from, and whether our tax dollars fund our thriving or our destruction. Instead our attention is flooded by consumer choice, like between kinds of toothpaste, and stolen away from what matters by corporate profiteers. At the same time, there’s a lot we could do – so much that we often feel unclear or paralyzed about what is best for us to do.
We want to help you take strategic action to change a system affecting your life. We can help you put your time and energy into projects that make a difference and don’t waste time. We want you to find a path forward that you feel a sense of agency and excitement about. We want you to participate in creating the world you long for.
